Golf-Link-Scotland

Golf-Link-Scotland have been around since 1999 providing bespoke holiday packages to golfers from all around the globe. We have had the pleasure of arranging travel schedules for USA Major winners and Master champions but we are currently having a change of direction and are developing our website to provide the best of information on golf in Scotland for the visitor.

Scotland as a country is able to provide the greatest of challenges to the golfer and we just don’t mean the rain! That is slightly unfair as the weather isn’t acually that bad and when you are on the first tee at St.Andrews, Gleneagles, Turnberry, Carnoustie, Troon or one of the unsung wonderful courses we have does it really matter?

Golf-Link-Scotland actively promotes all courses and not just the Open venues.

Whilst our site continues its development we would like to apologise if some of the information we talk about is hard to find but we will rectify that as soon as possible.

We want to provide information to you on all our Scottish golf courses, suggestions on places to stay, the regions of Scotland for you to consider for your vacation, the best hotels, car hire information, Scottish airports and the Ryder Cup even though it isn’t actually Scottish it is a fantastic sporting event. And with the Ryder Cup being played for at Gleneagles in 2014 in will have a real Scottish flavour.

If you have played golf in Scotland before and are planning a return trip you may want to consider some of Scotland’s other golfing venues that are less well know and promoted. Have you thought of Prestwick the venue for the first ever Open Championship? A superb golfing experience steeped in folklore. How about Royal Dornoch Championship currently ranked No.4 by Golf Digest UK & Ireland 2011.

A vacation in Scotland is not just for golf, here you are able to hunt the deer,  or you can shoot game,  either with a gun or just with your camera. You can go fishing on a Scottish loch or river or visit a  castle ( we have one or two!)and dream of William Wallace our National Hero. Tour the romantic Islands and the dramatic mountains and glens. Take some binoculars with you and enjoy a spot of Nessy spotting as you spend a leisurely picnic on the shores of Loch Ness. Walking, cycling, boating, and water sports there is something for everyone, and I have’nt even mention the Malt Whisky Trail.

Perhaps you just want to relax, listen to the pipes and enjoy the peace and quiet of our countryside. You’ll discover our history whilst enjoying our traditional warm Scottish hospitality. No day is long enough.
